Lactation Consults
In Office Consults
Initial Consultations – Complete evaluation of the breastfeeding relationship, including latch and feeding evaluation, oral function exam, breast care instruction, feeding plan, and pumping instruction as needed
Follow Up Consultations – Continued care for established clients
Prenatal Consultations – Preparation and planning for breastfeeding, ideal for challenges (prior breast surgery, PCOS, etc.) or prior lactation experience that was challenging. Please complete a basic breastfeeding class prior to consult
Pumping Consultations – Pump selection, flange fit, pumping instruction.
Weaning Consultations – Together we create a plan that honors your goals and values

Your consult may be covered by insurance!
Some insurance policies cover consultations 100%. You can check your policy benefits and obtain pre-approval prior to booking your consultation.
If your insurance does not provide coverage, payment is due at time of booking. I am happy to provide a super bill so you can seek reimbursement; please request one at your appointment.

Weaning Consultation – This is a consult for exploring weaning strategies. This can include weaning from breastfeeding/bodyfeeding or weaning from exclusive pumping.
Private Classes
Breastfeeding Class – Tailored for expectant parents of singletons or multiples
Pumping/Back to Work Class – All the 411 on how to pump, pump maintenance, and stacking the deck for protecting your supply and breastfeeding relationship after you return to work.
