I have been in love with babies and new families since I was very young.
I began providing professional services to new families after my youngest son was born, including breastfeeding education, childbirth education, and labor doula services. Over the years I began specializing in breastfeeding and completed my international board certification (IBCLC) in 2012.
I love my work as a lactation consultant, and feel so blessed to do it.

I am committed to providing respectful care for all individuals and families seeking lactation support within my scope of practice and professional ability.
I seek to understand your family’s needs and values, and to tailor my recommendations accordingly to provide the culturally sensitive care you are seeking.
I care profoundly about health disparities, lack of access to competent care, and the effects of sexism, racism, discrimination, and other forms of prejudice and inequity.
I will work with you on YOUR goals and respect your individual needs and situation. My aim is to help you begin your parenting journey with confidence!
There is nothing better than seeing new families and new professionals begin their journey with confidence!
The other part of my practice includes doula training, mentoring new doulas, and providing doula services and birth consultation to expectant families. You can see that here: Rocky Mountain Doula.
My husband and I have six beautiful grown children, a spunky granddaughter, and an adorable grandson. We enjoy all sorts of geeky pursuits, including playing board games like Settlers of Catan, watching sci-fi movies, and having entire conversations in movie quotes.
